Bulgaria Tango Association is a responsible non-profit organization and processes your data in compliance with Regulation (EC) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR). Therefore we would like to inform you shortly and in an understandable manner about the way of processing your personal data.

I. Personal data we process:

  • name and surname;
  • e-mail address;
  • telephone number;
  • your city of residence;
  • photos of you (with your explicit consent – see point IX below).

II. Origin of the processed personal data:

Your personal data comes directly from you. We do not get/buy any data from whomever.

III. Purposes for processing your personal data:

Your data will be processed only if you provide us with it for the purpose of organizing of Sofia Tango Festival, mainly – to ensure your participation in the event and to be able to provide you with the needed information about the event, the city, and overall your stay during the Festival.

 

We do not process any personal data for commercial purposes.

IV. Legal basis for the data processing:

We process your data based on your application for participation in Sofia Tango Festival.

 

In the context of GDPR, our legal basis is as defined in art. 6, para. 1, b of GDPR, mainly: the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are а party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

 

Given the massiveness of the event and in order to ensure the smooth organization of the activities during the Festival and your satisfaction from your participation, we cannot guarantee your participation in the event if you do not provide us with your data and your preferences.

V. Storage of the data. Duration of the storage.

Your data is stored on data servers, based in the EU, operated by SiteGround in compliance with GDPR, and in a cloud, operated by Google in compliance with GDPR.

 

We process your personal data for the time necessary as long as the purpose of the processing exists, mainly – till the end of the event and for no more than 5 more years after that to protect our legitimate interest in fulfilling our contract with you.

 

After that, we delete your data. 

VI. Data provision

We do not give any of your data to third parties, other countries, or whomever.

VII. Your rights

In the light of the above, the EU Data Protection Regulation GDPR provides you with the right to request from the Association access, correction, and limitation of the use of the personal data related to you, and the Association will do so without undue delay.

 

If you do not want all or part of your personal data to continue to be processed by the Association for this particular purpose, you may at any time request this from us by requesting it in the free text sent to the email below.
